We are proud to be a leading provider of speech therapy and assistive technology services, supporting school-aged children across New Jersey and New York in enhancing their communication skills and accessing the general education curriculum.
We partner with schools to offer comprehensive speech and language services tailored to each student’s needs, including support for Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). Our therapists bring expertise in managing diverse caseloads, ensuring compliance with special education laws, and fostering a collaborative environment to help students reach their fullest potential.
School contracting services include assessment and treatment for qualifying students with speech and language diagnosis. While the specifics vary to match each students’s individual situation, school- based intervention generally includes:
The evaluator will use a range of tools to understand the student's abilities and needs, including standardized tests, interviews, questionnaires, informal assessments, and observations. The tools chosen will help provide a clear picture of strengths and areas for further development.
Using the assessment findings, the evaluator will offer recommendations and design an individualized educational plan. Tailored support and guidance will be offered to the support team to improve the student's participation in the least restrictive environment. Techniques to gradually reduce direct support, encouraging independent use and generalize of skills will also be reviewed.
An expert speech pathologist will provide therapeutic scaffolding and strategies to support speech and language skill development. Location as well as frequency and duration of sessions will be based on the student's individual needs.
Success will be geared towards helping individuals build and apply their communication abilities effectively to participate in general education.
